Portraits
My portrait work extends from my broader photographic practice, exploring light, place and the ways we become visible. Working across studio, street and environmental portraiture, I approach each portrait as a collaborative creative act—an encounter between photographer and subject, shaped by conversation, gesture and surroundings. Presence and absence form part of this creative dialogue: what is revealed, what is withheld, and what remains beyond the frame. Together, we look for the unexpected, the accidental, the in-between—a moment that invites a deeper reflection on the person before the camera.
